Good Evening
I could use a little help if some one could explain to me how they figure water column on propane bottles. I have several 40 lb bottles that I purchased last year. I went to have them filled this year and they tell me they have the wrong type of valve and want to sell me new ones. If the is under 44 lbs it has to have the new style valve which cost as much as new bottles. My bottles are 40 lb bottles the water column stamped on the bottle guard says the W/C is 102.The Capacity of the bottle is 9.4 gals.BTU Capacity

Thanks
Russ
