My generator was running fine then started blowing black smoke then shut off. It would start again but then shut off right away. Kinda acts like its not getting enough gas. change the fuel filter but didnt help.
How old was the fuel & is the battery in good shape the only other concern might be the altimator being out of adjustment does or did your exaust have an odd smell?????????
