But when I'm using only my batteries, even fully charged, it will not ignite, only running and blowing cold air. Why it will ignite just fine when running generator, or connected to 110V.?
Hello
It sounds like a bad ground or bad connection somewhere---when shore power or generator-12 volts is stronger-maybe up to 14 Vdc-and the furnace fires up---
put a volt meter on your 12 volt circuit---see what you have just off batteries
might want to clean them too
rich in Va.
My pilot light works fine on My Duo-Therm furnace but the burner will not light, it has a new thremostate. It' has an ITT general controls valve, Cat# RVS8A21. Where can I get one?
Sounds to me like a voltage problem as well. Check the batterys. could have a bad cell in the house batterys. When pluged in or on gen {eather on dose the same affect} the convert is putting out 14.4 vdc to the batterys to charge them. I would start by check the water in the batterys or having them check out by a shop trained in deep cycle batterys. Auto stores dont have the means to check out a deep cycle battery properly.
good luck
