I have an electrical fault. My ignition lights are all on when the key is not in the ignition also have had a problem with the fan that will not switch off so have it disconnected now. Have had a drain on battery for a while now and haven't found the cause of that yet. Can anyone help with ideas on what is wrong with my lovely car.
Has your car been in an accident recently? what you are describing is typical of pinched wires under the dash or pinched wires in the steering column.
This isn't a fuse problem; This is definitly wiring related. It could be as simple as a damaged key switch or it could be poorly done wiring from a radio or other electronics installation. In any case, it will require pulling the steering column apart at the very least to test the key switch.
