Mountain Lakes CO. will not divulge over the phone the current price of a comparable membership - Sales team want protential buyers to first visit the Resort as Mountain Lake Co's as THEIR guest before they will divulge prices and levels of membership! CAUTION!!!!!!!! If you have been to the resort in the last two years (24 months) as a "guest" of Mountain Lakes Company for a sales tour, you are then NOT eligible to purchase the membership directly from a MEMBER! - you must instead pay thousands more to the sales team at Mountain Lakes Company (they charge a $25% commission to any member selling them membership thru Mountain Lakes Company, unless you wait for the 24 months to expire in order to buy directly from a MEMBER without having the higher cost of a sales commission! Mountain Lakes Co offers to give potential buyers a free visit as THEIR guest when they find out that someone is interested in buying membership directly from a MEMBER, then prohibits for 24 months any MEMBER from selling directly to THEIR guest. Any former or current member can verify that Mountain Lakes has a clause in their contracts that prohibit direct sales by members to anyone that has been a guest of Mountain Lakes Resort company within previous 24 months.
