Description
1974 Cortez motorhome in excellent condition.

This unique 22 foot side entry motorhome is built with an all welded steel rib unibody construction. This means no rumbles or rattles, just quiet luxury and safety.
This motorhome brand has never had a fatality recorded due to it’s superior construction.
It has a powerful 455 cubic inch Oldsmobile engine with the Toronado front wheel drive transaxle. It has been owned for the last 20 years by a retired autobody repairman and has had exceptional loving care.

The exterior is rust-free & has been recently repainted with epoxy paint and the interior reupholstered. The recently re-built transmission has a current warranty for over 10,000 miles. The cockpit includes a captains chair driver seat and a bench seat on the passenger side. It has all wood cabinetry inside and sleeps 4 or more. In the rear living area the spacious couches on each side fold down to make a king size bed or can be used as double full twins. The Dining booth folds easily into a double size bed.
It has 4 good Michelin tires on 16 ½ inch wheels, front disc brakes, folding entry step, dual gas tanks, fiberglass roof storage pod, Air Conditioning, large side awning, special golf bag storage, includes special cortez wheel jack and numerous extra parts. This unit comes with a 3 burner stove, oven, double kitchen sink, refrigerator, Hot water heater, forced-air furnace, flush toilet, shower, fresh water tank, waste tank (with a macerator), water pump. Access is through the drivers door, passenger door and side entry.
It features a ride as nice as a motor car and great visibility through large windows. It’s length allows for parking in standard spaces. Power steering, power brakes, made driving ease even better. This early motorhome was built on entirely new platform, not an existing truck chassis and has structural integrity not found in today’s ‘panelized’ construction.
