Aluminum heads are A:expensive and B: prone to gasket leaks. You must use the right gaskets etc to minimise the risks. But I would run them if they matched my needs. Most aluminum heads won't be optimum for the rpm range an RV operates at though. My experiance is that the performance heads want to run 1000 to 1500 rpm higher than the intake headers and cam. It makes a huge difrence to how it runs to match everything. Remember that at cruse speed you want your engine as close to torque peak as you can get it.Good Luck |
