Removed the passenger side valve cover & looks good & clean, no sludge. With the valve cover off, the noise sounded more like tapping than knocking. Oil coming up through the rocker arms with a good flow. I used a mechanics stethescope & the tapping sounded stronger right under the rear rocker arms. I did not hear it when I put the stethescope on the block. Don't know if its a bad push rod or valve but its seems like its right there under the rocker arms. |
