It turned out my 1992 P30 radiator needs recoring when we pulled it off to get better access to replacing the alternator and water pump plus hoses and belts. Today they said it would be OK for local runs but risky to do a 5K mile run out west next year. With the price of copper it is like a $500 job any more but crossing the Rockies would not be a place to need a new radiator. If you have any seeps or have it off make sure you get it into a good shop. After 15 years they are getting thin. |
