Get the engine # and ask chevy. Last time I was looking for a chev # it was on the block just forwad of the pass side head stamped into the block face that the head bolts to. That is from a long time ago though. Good Luck
GM stamps V8 blocks on right hand side, right in front of the head. The letters at the end ID the year it was cast & what size block. Dealers, auto parts yards,auto part stores, and some repair manuals have these code lists. Rich
