My 1992 Thor Pinnacle with P-30 and throttle body fuel injection looses some power and backfires in the intake when using the last part of the throttle range. It has 24,000 miles total on it. The engine seems to bog some when pulling hills and advancing the throttle past about 2/3. At wide open throttle the engine wil occationally backfire through the intake. The engine seems to make more power if I back off the throttle to a point. Past this point it seems to bog. It sounds to me like it is running lean. There is no black smoke. Does anyone have any suggestions? |
