Where is best place to get engine manual/repair/specs for a cAT 3208? Best forum for finding engine parts and reliable parts? What do you know about using DELO SAE (straight) 50 in a CAT used engine that uses a lot of oil?

I am looking for a shop manual for a CAT3208 V8 diesel engine that is in a boat we just bought. 215 HP, conventionally aspirated. Any help would be great.
John: Have you tried the Yahoo Cat forum? Which model 3208 do you have? What HP? We have the 300HP atac in our Bluebird. Calls for 15W40. 50 weight is way too heavy. You must correct the problem and not try to mickey mouse it with the wrong oil. The parts for this engine are available at any HD truck parts shop. They were very common and parts are not that expensive. Even the Cat rebuilds are priced well. Cat has the manuals you need.
I have a 1981 IH truck with 3208 cat,after it sets 4 days 40 degrees or less it seems to lose fuel prime, runs rough until I pump the primer a few times then runs smooth. I have replaced the hand primer with new check valves with no improvement. All the filters are new and cannot find a fuel line leak. Wher else should I be looking? Does the injection pump have an internal chec valve?Thanks
I have a Ford F8000 with a Cat 3208 215 hp engine. The Injection pump is pulling away from the engine. I don't see where the pump is suppose to mount to the engine. Does anyone have a diagram for that or know how it is suppose to mount. Oil is spraying out everywhere. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I have a cat 3208 150hp natural aspirated. It has difficulty keeping its prime despite being no leaks in the supply line, however there is fuel leaking out from the govenor housing adn the engine cannot pull revs (the gov is full of fuel) Does anyone know if this is an easy fix or a major? The fan stays on all the time,book says it should not run till 180. there are 4 heat switchs on rear of engine 1 wire from fan switch goes to 2 of them &1 goes to 1 other??? how does it work. adding new switch when it comes. Any help please.
