454 Shorty Headers Tim 8-2-01
I just bought a 1984 Coachmen Motorhome with a Chevy 454 in it. The passenger side exhaust manifold is leaking at the #8 cyclinder. I read about having the manifold milled and installing a stainless steel gasket but is anybody using shorty headers? How do they work? And if I was to order a set what would be the part#. I'm new to the Chevy motor having had Fords most of my life. Are all 454 exhaust manifolds the same? Is there a specific model that would fit the stock exhaust? Thanks in advance for any help. Tim
