How do you drive...by mileage not that much..Might help giving it a good run...if you dont drive above 60 use 2nd gear for about 10mi. May be getting carbon buil up on valves or cyl heads??????
I have a 1990 FLair with a F.I. 460 Ford. On a long hill or when the engine get a little hot, it will stutter, make sound like small backfires and lose power. It will only do this under load and hot. When it cools off it stops. I have checked fuel pressure, replaced plug wires etc and throtle possition sensor. The engine has 44k on it. |
