What kind of parts and plugs do i need to tune up the engine. distributor and etc. on a 1976-1978- 440 chrysler engine in a winnegago. or where can i fnd out this info
Im looking for info about the 440 engine that was in a 1976 motor home. Mainly the Horsepower rating and the compression ratio. The engine has a 4 barrel carb on it also if that helps. Any info you have would be a big help. Thank you.

I have much the same question as the Winebago one. I have a 440-1 engine in a 78 25' motorhome. Mine has the van front on it. I have added ceramic coated headers with racer rap on them, electric cooling fan up front and just recently a major tune up. I am trying to find out the horespower and torqe rating for this engine and what else I can do to it to get a little bit more performance without compromising reliability.
