1995 450 chev in winnebago. guage not working, wondering where the element is on the block. maybe it is bad.
Temp sending unit is either on the drivers side of the engine next to the upper water hose inlet into the block or on the drivers side below the exhaust manifold in the font of engine. Should be hex unit, 3/4" to 1" dia with single wire plugged into the top of it. When you remove it water or antifreeze will pour out so be ready and do it when the enginescld.
