Need some help. My dad has a 1983 Allegro class a motorhome with a 454 chevy/p30 chassis. First, it wears out the alt belt really fast. Why? Second, fuel gauge doesn't show correct fuel height in either tank. Why? Third, how can we figure out the correct fuel line connection to the fuel regulator that attached to the frame? There is I believe 6 lines on it, 4 coming in, 2 going out.
Probably loose or out of line, or if running with tensionor, it could be hanging up...run one tank down and have fuel in other full, by tapping tanks you can tell which is full and empty...then trace lines...pain in the neck....took me awhile to find out, and then found they had wires wrong, registoring wrong tanks
