I have a 460 in my 95 Ford Coachman that misses unless I am on it hard. It doesn't matter what speed I am traveling, if I'm not on it, it's sputtering. I have replaced plugs, wires, distributor and ran a high pressure fuel injector cleaner through it. Still doing it. Anyone had and fixed this same problem? Any suggestions? Thanks!
Two issues to check too start. Check for weak coil, the coil is under much more stress at mid throttle mid revs than high revs high throttle. Next fuel pressure, it is supposed to drop when the engine goes to idle or low throttle, I have seen several cars lately that have the fuel pressure regulator unplugged on have a cracked vac line. The computer relys on the pressure to be correct to run the engine correct. Good Luck
