I have an 1998 F150, the check engine light has come on and has stayed on. However, I haven't experienced any difference in the drivability. It still idles and runs the same and fuel economy hasn't changed. This is the Triton 5.4 V8 engine. Any thoughts?
Have it scanned at your nearest parts house. but its most probably a catalyst efficiency code ( very common)
this means you probably need new catalytic convertors.
