Hey everyone a couple months ago i was here asking about my ford 460. it is in a e-350 cab and chassis. it is a 26ft. jayco motor home. my problem is the manifolds are glowing red after going 3 miles down the road. i had the heads rebuilt (burned valves), new injectors, O2 sensor, temp sensor, and all the tune up parts. i have checked the timing many times and went off the emissions sticker for specs. the cat converter was plugged so that has been removed. both manifolds start glowing. any help would be great
Yup they do glow It's not often we see a BB exhaust system in the dark but they will glow cherry red under load or just after.... Lit many a cig off industrial 460 manifold
