My 1997 Ford Class B van has only 35,600 miles on it. It just began having a starting problem. If you turn the key part way, count to 3, then turn it back and actually turn all the way to start it, it kicks right in. Happens with every start. Mechanic said maybe a fuel regulator or fuel pump. Seems like few miles on odometer for this to me. Any thoughts? I have tried fuel injection cleaner but no change.
