WE are experiencing jumpy voltage reading (or no voltage sometimes)from the throttle position sensor circuit. Codes say faulty TPS. We replaced the ECM and the TPS (twice actually) and the output shaft sensor on tranny in an attempt to correct but there is no change. The vehicle goes into "limp mode" so it idles high, shifts hard and will not go into overdrive. The 1983 p30 motorhome chassis has 454 with throttle body fuel injection and electronic transmission. Transmission fluid levels are good and wiring seems ok except for the pack of wires that go into the side of the tranny. They are a bit soft and spongy but look intact otherwise. Could this be the problem?
