I want to replace the fuel pump because I am sure the engine is starved for fuel. The unit will run at only 25 to 30 mph. I understand the fuel pump is in the gas tank. It looks like the gas tank will have to be removed in order to service the filter and pump. I am thinking of installing a hatch door through the floor of the MH in order to access the opening in the tank where the pump, filter, and pickup are bolted in. I would appreciate any comments and suggestions.
It is a bad idea to cut through the fire wall between the fuel tank and the interior for any reason. Dropping the tank is not really a big deal with a couple guys and two jacks. Good Luck
The Fuel filter is on the right side frame rail---
G3727 is the part # and there were a lot of them recalled---you MUST have o-rings on it when you replace it--
