I have a 84 Pace Arrow, 454 Chev P30 chassis. I am trying to find the fuel pump to replace it. I crawled under looking everywhere but can't locate it. Gas is not getting to the carb - The engine runs great when I pour gas in the carb until it runs out of gas. I am going to change the fuel filter but also wanted to change out the fuel pump. Any other thoughts???
IF it is like mine it will be on the passenger side of the engine all the way toward the front of the engine. It is a mechanical type pump. You will see your fuel line coming down from the top of the engine feeding into the mechanical pump. Two bolts hold it on i believe. hope this helps
I have a old 84 Pace Arrow--yes it has a Mechanical pumpp-engine rt front side---I had to replace rubber fuel lines they will rot out and suck air---that might be the problem---and also the fuel filter on the right side frame rail---
