My Opinion. By pass the old pump, then remove the pump and buy a chrome block plate or make one. If you pressurise that pump and the diaphram fails, and it will, it will fill your engine with fuel, shortly there after boom, clank, clank clank. I have seen this happen. Be carefull you get a pump that will provide the correct fuel presure or use a regulator before the carb. Good Luck |
