My Fleetwood Southwind Storm 1996 RV engine (454 single point fuel injection) races when hot in neutral (N) but not in park or drive. Could this be an EGR valve problem or something else?

This was due to a breather pipe coming apart in front of the motor, one tube slipped out from inside the other and caused the high revving in neutral when the engine was hot! Oops!
