I have a 1989 Sportscoach with an Energenius converter and inverter.
Has anyone replaced one of these with another system or have a sugesstion on how it can be repaired or retrofitted?

We have a 1990 Airstream Classic 345 LE motorhome with an Energenius Inverter.
We think it need a new board. We have the oringal manual that came with the motor home. I will be working on it with in the next two weeks. I will let you know how it turn out. Send a reply to e-mail above.
Hi brent! i have the same 1990 airstream classic as you and was wondering how the repair went on the energenius.......ours is working fine except the battery charger stops charging prematurely....any suggestions on where to find the energenius manual??
I look under my kitchen cabinet on my 1990 36' LY and see a Magnetek automatic transfer switch and a magnetak converter charger. I see nothing with the word "Energenius System". I just bought this RV and the coach batteries are not charging. Thinking about converting over to something newer. We are in the process of understanding wiring and creating a wiring diagram since Airsteam failed to provide a good schematic with the operators manual. Any information would be benifical. Would any Airstream LY owners be interested in staring a Yahoogroup to discuss numerous problems?
Hi, Need help w/ an energenius EG3200/G transfer controller, inverter, charger. If anyone has any experience with these units, please contact me. Unit supplies power to all items as required until the AC is turned on - then ALL power goes off - gen keeps running, there is power coming off the gen, but no where else. Power stops at the EG3200 unit. It resets back to power on when gen is turned off and then back on. But the same thing happens when you call for AC. Problem not the AC, it runs fine on land line. Help
I have a overlander motorhome,all working good and then i had to weld round bat tray so took bat off and noticed micro wave did not work when put back on. Thought o well fuse so a month or so gone by had a look and my eg3200g must of swiched off when bat was taken off,put it back on and no joy. It is not charging,12 volt at unit but aint charging bats,put gen on and the light at the top goes up and down in brightness,like its surging,any ideas ?
I have a no good Energenius system on my 1990 36’ LY also. I’m looking for a non burned board for parts identification, or a schematic for the unit. Please, before you discard your unit let me know. Thank you.

Thanks a million for the response! First, I will really appreciate the deatils of the repair. Secondly, my 1991 Land Yacht is also a work in progress... I thought I had all the mechanical / Electrical work done when this unit started acting up... Oh well, more fun!!
What can you detail for me on the board repair?

Hi Don, I was just looking over the web and saw that you were having trouble with your energenius system also. Mine is overcharging my batteries and I am also trying to find info on it. If you locate any some help would be great. I will do the same if I find out anything. Thanks, Mike
