I was driving along in my moterhome and ever so often it started bucking then it clear itself thought it was muck in the petrol tank so i pull unto the side of the road and stop started the enjine and began to pull out on the highway and the rv just died on me. tried every thing to start it again but it would not start.had the rv towed to safety another rv owner told me that it was my starter moter so i had a recon one fitted so i could get back home it started the rv and every thing seemed fine. so i set off home five miles into the journey the rv died again and would not start any ideas?ps i put two new batterys on and they are charging fine
You may have a problem with your ignition system module inside the distributor. Ck and verify that you have spark at your spark plugs when this concern occurs. The module has been known to work intermittently, hence your ability to move for about 5 miles.I would concentrate on the ignition system. I have a 1988 Southwind 24B model and would like to get a copy of the carriage electric schematic,in particular to the electric fuse etc box on the lt. side under the hood.By any chance might you have one?Appreciate hearing from you as to yours and my concerns.
