Coach Electrical Problem Albert 8-10-05
As hard as I tried, I can't figure this out:
I have a '78 Jamboree. I have 2 dead AC outlets and one DC light that's dead also. I checked fuses for the DC and there does not seem to be any blown. On the AC, I shut the breakers off and on w/o any success
.
But what puzzles me the most, is there seems to be no DC juice to the large fuse panel/battery charger. Now when you plug the MH into shore power, the charger starts humming and illuminates the small 'on' light. But there is no power across the fuse. I checked it with a test light.
Then when you disconnect the shore line and it should be running off the house battery. And it does all the DC lights inside work great, but there is still no juice across the 'north and south' fuse prongs. (the wires going to the DC light are dead and the coach battery is fully charged)

I know I'm missing something here. If someone can help me I would really appreciate it.
