Maybe a bad battery isolater? Sounds like it's not charging, or there's a constant draw on it. How old's the battery? I had one with the same symptoms, looked everywhere to find the problem, but it turned out to be the battery.
I have a farmall cub tractor (McCormick Deering) and want to convert it to a 12 volt system. I have the parts; however, i'm not sure how to connect the conversion to the system. I need to use the generator which is for 6v; therefore, i have purchased the 12 regulator and mounted it but can not determine how the conversion fits into the mess of things.
Can you help or direct me to someone who can?

I am having the same problem with the Jayco C 26ss. Mine dies in one night and has been in the shop about 6 times. I even installed a solar charger and that didn't help. Let me know if you find the problem as I will. I have had problems with the inverter being wired incorrectly also and not sure if it is related.
Mine Class C is not a Jayco but I was having a similar problem. I discovered a short in the lighting circuit. I found it by removing the 12 volt fuses and testing each circuit to ground with an ohmeter. It turns out that a 12 volt florescent fixture must have had a bad ballast which caused a wiring meltdown. Once I removed this short circuit to ground, the problem went away.
I have a similar problem as listed above and am hoping someone can help. I have a 93 Jayco Eagle 290 and my Aux battery won't hold a charge. I bought a brand new battery and that didn't help. It seems the generator will not charge the battery as is did before and the voltage meter on the motorhome itself seems to be charging alot when driving. It never gets up to fully charge on the voltage meter on the dash. From time to time the generator will not turn over either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
