I started having wiring challenges with my Jayco mini motorhome and I would like to find out how the electrical system works so I can get this figured out. Any help would be appreciated.
I have a 91 Jayco Custom Popup that I am having to re-wire the pigtail on. It is a 6 wire harness. Previous owner had a 4 prong flat plug on it. Can someone please tell me what each color is supposed to be for? I have purchased a new 6 prong plug and truck adaptor, but can't seem to come up with the right combination.
I'm looking for help. I am having difficulty wiring my pick-up truck to a 1988 Jayco camper trailer. My problem is that I have a standard 4 prong trailer harness (white, brown, green and yellow) on my truck. the Jayco has a 6 wire plug in. Is there anyway I can go from my existing wiring harness to the Jayco without a major rewiring job? Any advise is appreciated.
I reversed the polarity when I installed a new battery. the reverse protection fuse on the a/c d/c panel did not blow, the problem is that i am not getting any current to that panel. my battery fuse did blow and i have replaced it. is there a device between the battery and the panel that would interrupt this current and if so were should i look for it
Bought a slide in pop up camper it has a 4 prong plug by the cab of truck trying to figure out what the4 wires goes to green /yellow /white /black it,s a j series thank u larry
I had the same problem with same trailer. I found an exact harness on etrailer.com. It went from the trailer's 6 prong to the standard 4 wire flat. Simple pig tail plug in and go. cost 20 to 30 dollars.
Did you have any luck finding a wiring schematic for your jayco??? I also have a 85 jayco 27' class c and am having a short issue. get in touch and maybe we can work together. thanks, Edward.
Just purchased a 1996 jayco cardinal 6 designer series and on the first trip the top was very close to being completely up when we heard a loud noise and the back would not raise, had to manually lift it up and prop it up with a board, got it home and now the back will not lift at all, the front will not the back, we do not know where to start, how to access the cable, how it runs, nothing. maybe someone can help us!!!!
