My motorhome's chassis battery (the starting battery) is not wired to be charged when I'm plugged into a 110 volt line. Can I just clip a jumper across the isolator's terminals while parked? I was also thinking of making the set up permanent with a dash-mounted switch that will only be turned on while parked. Will these changes work? Thanks in advance for the advice.
