I have a 1993 Ford Ranger with a 4 liter V6. If I put my emergency brake on with the headlights turned on and on low beam, all the lights go dull and the charging hand drops down to 5 or 6 volts. I first thought it must be a short in the emergency brake switch, but, the problem does not happen with the lights on high beam or off all together. Any suggestions as to where to start looking?
