Speeddomator quit working and service enging soon light came on also dying sometimes while slowing down to turn some where is there a manufactures defalt or is the computer going bad is there a reset switch i need answers we just bought it ad was perfect all of a suddon it messing up on us please send comments ty
Sounds like your VSS or circuit is bad. The VSS, (Vehicle Speed Sensor), is used to drive the speedo instead of a cable. The VSS fits into the hole in the rear of the tranny where the cable used to be. It is nothing more than a tiny generator producing pulses of electrical current that drive the speedo and furnish information to the engine management computer as to how fast the vehicle is going so that fuel and spark may be tailored to the current engine operating mode.
Lost the blinker and heater blower. Replaced the fuse....turn key...the fuse blows...have unhooked the blinker switch..tried //fuse blew...unhooked the blower motor...tried...fuse blew...and suggestions? Are these the only two loops tied to that fuse?
