Sounds like grounding problems. To check the taillight grounds, do this:Pull the bulb/socket assy out of the tail lamp housing, turn the head lights on, use a 12 volt test light and connect the clip to a good ground. Touch the probe of the test light to the shell of the tail light bulb, if the test light comes on, then you have a bad ground connection between the battery minus cable and the tail light ground wire. Pull the instrument panel and check the common ground strip for all the panel lights by doing the same test. Repair or install other ground wires as needed. |
