I purchased an old 1972 Winnebago Indian form a friend. I am now having electrical issues. I have pulled alt &
checked and replaced ballast resistor in ignition and the voltage regulator.
I think I may have problems in some part of the electrical dia. I have checked the solenoid & starter out of
the vehicle and they are ok. When I put the starter back on engine and reconnect wiring my battery gets pulled down like a direct short some-
where in wiring. I pulled new wire to the battery box both for ground and hot. Is there may be a Chilton manual or Dodge manual or Winnebago manual I
could purchase. Thanks! Billy Chain
I have a 72 brave with the dodge chassis.
Dodge normaly uses the head light switch /
Circuit breaker as the main feed point form the battery.
On my Brave the factory moved this tie point to a crimp connection located in the wiring bundle at the back of the engine next to the voltage regulator and Ign module, under a large wrap of electrical tape..
I had similar problems until I located this connection and re-soldered it back together.
