The fuel lines have rotted from Gasohol---some rv's have had recall to replace them---(you pay for rubber hose and labor-) have you changed the fuel filter for the motorhome AND the generator---_OR you are running multi vis oil--and it's foaming---and the low oil sensor is shutting down the engine
ONAN says 30 wt oil---in the book/manual.

Thank you for your advice regarding my Onan generator problem. We did have multi-viscosity oil (10-30) we have replaced it with straight HD 30 wt oil. Additionally we checked the operation of the oil-pressure switch and it functions properly.
Lastly we checked the generator bushes and they appear serviceable. Note the run/hour meter for the generator reads 347 hours.
It appears that there isn’t any electrical power at the control module after the start button is release (and after in generator starts and runs…quitting shortly after initially starting). It is likely we could have a faulty control module?
