This 1984 coachmen rv I bought also has another electricl issue. All the outlets work when the generator is running but nothing works when the 110 cord is plugged in. Is there a switch somewhere in here that I have yet to find or do I have another problem?
There is a change over switch or in some cases you simply plug the unit into the genset. The change over could be automatic or manual. If manual you are looking for a large lever switch mounted on the wall and hidden a cupboard or similar. Lots of units you just plug into the generator with your shore power cord. Good Look
