I have a 07 25RSS Camper and the light above the slide out does not work (over queen bed). I have narrowed the problem to the wiring behind the socket that provides power to the slideout. When I connect up a bulb the voltage out of the socket goes to 0, when I disconnect the bulb, the voltage goes back to 12. If I jumper wires from a different fixture, the light works so it is the power source/wiring not the fixture itself. I believe the wires for the socket go straight to the breaker panel but I don't know for sure for I cannot get to them. As far as I can tell the wires do not get spliced to any other fixture for I have pulled them and checked. Question how can I get behind the breaker panel to check the connections and is it possible that for some reason the circuit has trouble driving a bulb load? Fuse nevers blows.
