My truck batterie is dying when i drive somewhere but the volt meter is indicting that the alternator is charging. If i leave the truck parked with a fully charged battery it is fine to start, then i drive it somewhere and de-charges... Any ideas?
Have the battery tested by one of your local big box retail parts stores, most will do @ no charge. As will wall mart etc. The key here is what voltage is actually at the battery when the engine is running and what draw is on it when it is shut off. If the engine running is 13.5 volt or higher with the engine running and there is less than 0.5 amps draw on the system while shut off it should start and run day to day on a good battery. Good Luck
