I have a 1976 coachman rv on a ford chassis i have power when connected to 110 but i think i am suppose to have power when the engine is running but i don't have anything what would be my most common problem and where could i find a wire diagram thanks
There are two magic boxes that could be your problem. First the converter has a relay that conects the 12 lights and 12 powered items to a power supply working off 110 v supply. When unplugged it is supposed to change the supply over to the unit batteries. So the relay could be bad or the house batteries could be stone cold dead. The second magic box is an optional inverter to create 110 volt from 12 volt. In 1976 a hugely expensive option. If you have no 110 volt do you have an inverter and does it work? Good Luck
