2004 interior lights not working on 12 volt

2004 interior lights not working on 12 volt Travis 7-13-09  
I just bought a 2004 Jayco Eagle Select High Wall. The interior lights in the ceiling do not work on the 12 volt battery. They will work when plugged into 120V. One other note, the furance, water pump, and lower interior lights will work on the 12 battery. And I have tried using a freshly charged deep cycle RV/Marine battery. Can someone explain why the interior light will not work on the 12 volt battery?

Have you checked the 12 fuses. on my trailer there are 8 glass fuses in the converter box. one of those might be bad. hope that fixes it

Reset the GFI receptacle in the bathroom---and the converter will work---and the lights will work

Are the lights 120 volt flourescent? They won't work until the trailer is plugged in. Good Luck
