I have a Kohler 7000 (7CKM-RV with PowerBoost III) that will start but will only continue to run as long as the start switch is held in the start position. This works the same way regardless of using the local start switch on the generator or either of the two remote start switches inside the coach.
I have found a number of posts here and elsewhere reporting this same problem but I have yet to find a proposed solution that anyone has confirmed.
I have A Kohler Confidant 4 Mod4CKM21 300 hrs, also starts,run,stops when the start switch is released, The Manual indicates Circuit Board, or Oil Sending Switch. I replaced the Circuit Board, & Oil sending Switch, Still the same thing.
