I have a 1988 Starcraft nova that we are looking to have an a/c unit installed. The company wants to know if it has the bars in it already? Does anyone know if they came inside the interior of the roof on this?

Remove the interior plastic parts to the existing vent---see if wireing is there.before you buy a AC
The roof should be strong enough-no matter.
