Two things: water pump does not switch to ac when external generator on. Continues to use 12 volt service.
Plus, seems like the deep cycle battery doesn't last long.
Second, trailer electrical system does not seem to charge the 12volt battery. 2005 Sportsmaster trailer, and heard that some trailers do not come with battery chargers to do so. If true, what would you recommend regarding installing an internal charger, or do I need to bring my automotive battery charger and use it externally? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Art.

your 12 volt pump IS A 12 VOLT PUMP-
not a AC motor,
clean your battery connections, and your 2005 Battery probably going bad. do you ever check the water level-?-It might have dried out from age
RV chargers are slow chargers so they DON'T boil the battery electrolyte,
a automotive charger being used at the same time the rv generator is running or while hooked to shore power from home or a park will actually cause more damage to the Existing charger.
