I recently was having a problem and had a loss of power. Would start up perfect but would not go over 40 mph and was useing a lot of gas. Acted like it was bogging out. Then stopped all togeather. I determened there was no spark so I baught the new coil. But the new coil has specific instruction to add another ground wire that the original didnt have. Is it really needed? The instructions included with the coil says if you dont add the ground wire it will produce an aditional charge damaging the new coil and cap. Havent tryed to start it yet want to put the extra ground on first to make sure it dont get damaged I guess.
