I need to replace the brakelight switch on my 1977 Dodge Sportscoach class A motorhome. I have tried 3 local auto parts stores and not one has the part. The dodge chassis is probably a 1975 - 1976 as the manufacture date of the coach is Feb. 1977 and has a 440 motor.
Any suggestions on where to locate one would be appreciated.
We have looked under 1 ton and 3/4 ton also under van and maxi van. Also from 1970 t0 1977. We have found ones that are close but the threaded "shaft" of the new parts are smaller.
