I have a 94 Winnebago Brave on a Chevy P30 Chassis. The turn signal/back up light fuse will blow when the ignition switch is turned on with the selector in park and my foot off of the brake pedal. If the brake pedal is depressed or the selector is in any other position except park the fuse does not blow and the turn signals work normally. Any ideas?
I had a semilar problem. After removing all the park and turn signal lamps, removing the brake light switches, and attempting to no avail to trace wiring I determined that the turn and back up lights wern't the only thing on that fuse. The problem turned out to be a defective solonid that locks the selector in park until the brake pedel is depressed. I unpluged the wire from the solonid and everything works fine. No blown fuses.
