I have a Winnebago with 2 Mach iii ac's. both have worked fine. recently the front one will turn on blow cold for 3 to 5 minutes then stop. You can hear the motor trying. If you pull the interior housing down and spin the blower fan by hand it will run again for 2- 5 minutes then stop. I also noticed if it's running and I turn it off the motor will not turn again till it cools down I guess. My question is could this be the motor, or am I better served just buying a new unit ? thanks in advance.
First off---turn power off --oil fan motor -spin it---see if it frees up-and if this doesn't help--it's possible the fan run capacitor--going bad--make sure it's put back---correctly---mark wires
