Rick. You have probably figured out by now that if the battery is disconnected and still goes bad, then more than likely it has a shorted cell. On the other hand if the coach battery remains in a disconnected state because of the non-operation of the relays, then the battery never gets charged by the chassis or the converter. Check your voltage at the output side of the relay while someone operates the relay. the relay must stay energized to complete the path for charging. |
